What does it do?
You need to use an API token for authentication when you want to make authorized API calls to the Skilltree-API. This step is necessary if your organization uses a third-party authentication provider (e.g. Azure ActiveDirectory, Google Workspace) for the authentication in Skilltree.
How do I do it?
It's very simple, there are just three steps:
- Go to Settings.
- On the bottom right of the window click on "Personal access tokens".
- Press "New token" to create a new access token.
How to use API Tokens?
To use the API Token you add it to any authorized API call as a Bearer Token in the header of the call.
